Then the next week there was a big gathering (38 people) to celebrate Steve's grandma's 80th birthday. I was in charge of the cake, and here is what I came up with. I thought it turned out pretty good.
The next week we headed to my parents house and Jacob got to go swimming for the first time. He wasn't really sure what to think of it at first, but he got into it eventually.
My mom had the most adorable baby sunglasses for Jacob. Of course he hated them and wouldn't keep them on, but it's not like babies really need sunglasses anyway.
The next weekend we had a birthday party for Jacob. He is one year old!
Steve just started a new job which will require him to be out of town a lot. The boys thought they would help him pack. They are nothing if not helpful.
You are way talented and your boys are super cute!
ReplyDeleteYour cakes are beautiful! I love the cherry blossom cake! Sounds like a crazy month-I saw some cute pics of you and your boys on Facebook with Uncle David and my Dad told us how fun your birthday party was.
ReplyDeleteYour cakes are so cute--you could make serious money on them in CA! Hope the new job is rewarding.....
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Jacob is a year old already?!!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute cakes. Keep up the good work.
Great pics, little sis! Glad you're staying busy and having fun.
ReplyDeleteFYI, babies DO need sunglasses.... ; )
